This post should have been made a few weeks ago but when ever i take photos it seems like it takes me forever to do anything with them.
Here is my first lino cut since i graduated. i have been
wanting to get back into printing for a while now and a few weeks ago i finally bit the bullet and got a set up started. For my first home print i did a small postcard sized print and one a single color. the subject matter was
kamen rider (surprise surprise). This was my first time printing at home which means i didn't get to use a press
instead i used the wooden spoon method which worked
surprisingly well. The ink that i got in the start up kit was
water base easy clean up ink i have never used this ink before it was pretty crappy compared to oil based ink i used to. So i am
definitely going to need to pick up some oil based ink before i do anymore prints
well here are progress photos
